The Heart behind the Hearth Method

A perfectly organised home isn't just about how it looks, it's about how it makes life feel. A place where mornings run more smoothly. Where children know where to find their toys. Where opening the pantry doesn't feel overwhelming. Where home feels like your clearest, safest place , not chaos. Considered spaces, considered systems, made with heart. I'm Cheyenne Bitton, founder of The Hearth Method. For the past seven years, I've worked from home. I have two daughters (one not yet at school ) alongside my husband, who also works remotely most days. Like so many families, our home became the center of everything: our workplace, our playroom, our dining room, our office, our sanctuary. And because of that, it started to feel disorganised, even suffocating. I've always found that my home reflects my mind. When my surroundings are cluttered, I feel overwhelmed, distracted, mentally exhausted. But when my space feels calm, organised, and intentional, everything else seems to settle too. That realisation changed the way I viewed my home. I stopped trying to create a house that simply looked beautiful, and started creating one that actually worked for the people living in it , a home that functions beautifully, feels calm, and supports everyday life instead of adding to its stress. Today, that's exactly what I help my clients create. Whether it's redesigning a chaotic pantry, transforming a children's playroom, organising wardrobes, refreshing a home office, or styling an Airbnb, my goal is always the same: to create spaces that feel lighter, calmer, and easier to live in. Every project begins with listening. I take the time to understand how you and your family (or your team ) use your space. Through an in-person consultation, I learn your routines, frustrations, and goals before designing thoughtful systems that make your space feel intuitive and effortless. I combine organisation with styling, because I believe functionality should never come at the expense of beauty. I love hunting for the perfect vintage rug, sourcing beautiful baskets and storage solutions, breathing new life into old furniture, and finding practical ways to make everyday spaces feel intentional. Because organisation isn't about having fewer things. It's about making room for what matters. My hope is that when I leave your space, you won't simply have a tidier cupboard or a prettier room. You'll have a home that feels lighter. A workplace that helps you focus. A space that supports the life you want to live (and a heart and head that feel a little less cluttered too!) Welcome to The Hearth Method.

How we do things

1

Consultation

We start with an in-person consultation at your home or workplace. I take the time to understand how you actually live and work  your routines, your frustrations, what's not working, and what "calm" would look like for you.

2

Design and sourcing

From there, I design a system tailored to your space and your life (not a generic template). Covering layout, storage solutions and styling direction. Then I source everything needed to bring it to life, hunting for pieces that are both practical and beautiful.

3

Setup and handover

I do the hands-on work of organising, arranging and styling your space — then walk you through it, so you know exactly how the systems work and how to keep them that way. My goal isn't just a beautiful reveal. It's a space you can actually maintain, long after I've left.
